Revision history for Syndicate
0.0.6 2026-09-02T20:03:49+03:00
- README updated for the v0.0.5 API revision: convert()/convert-to-*
enum examples, add-category()/categories(), and a new .to-builder
example.
0.0.5 2026-09-02T19:52:31+03:00
- Fixed the raku.land JSON::Fast dependency link in the README.
- API revision for v0.0.5 (breaking changes):
- parse-feed-with-format now returns a Syndicate::FeedResult (:format, :feed)
instead of a positional list; parse-feed returns a Feed class instance.
- convert() takes a typed FeedFormat enum (RSS2/RSS091/RSS1/Atom/JSONFeedFmt)
instead of a string alias, and convenience convert-to-rss/atom/json/rss1/rss091
subs are added. The string form convert($str, 'rss') is removed.
- FeedFormat enum moved to a new Syndicate::Format module (breaks a compile
cycle); re-exported from Syndicate::Parse and Syndicate.
- parse-date and parse-date-optional unified into parse-date(..., :optional);
parse-date-optional is removed.
- Syndicate::Builder category() split into add-category() (chainable) and
categories().
- New Syndicate::Feed.to-builder() convenience.
0.0.4 2026-08-31T21:51:31+03:00
- Pretty-print feed XML via str(:pretty).
0.0.3 2026-08-17T01:04:27+03:00
- Syndicate::Builder::Entry.media-content() now accepts optional
:medium, :title, and :description, so a media:content can carry its
own medium attribute and nested media:title/media:description elements
(previously only item-level media-title/media-description were
supported). The MediaRSS extension emits and re-parses the nested
elements, and Builder::Feed.new-from-feed round-trips medium plus the
content-level title/description.
0.0.2 2026-08-05T08:02:21+03:00
- Restore the hand-written README overwritten by the first mi6 release;
ReadmeFromPod is now disabled in dist.ini.
0.0.1 2026-08-05T07:55:17+03:00

thread-safe parsing statistics (Syndicate::Stats).
- Extensions: Dublin Core, Media RSS, and iTunes podcast.
